They are seeking an AI Intern to gain hands-on experience in AI research initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects that enhance AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- The internship or co-op program for an AI Intern provides highly motivated and qualified students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and deepen their understanding of business and technology in a real-world setting
- Participants are fully embedded within their assigned teams, where they contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals across departments, and develop practical skills aligned with their academic background and career interests
- This experience is designed to bridge classroom learning with professional application, offering exposure to industry tools, technologies, and leadership engagement
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science intern to support our AI research initiatives
- This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and the opportunity to contribute to strategic projects that shape our AI capabilities
- The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams and engage with executive leadership to drive innovation and insight
- Conducting Research and Data Analysis
- Perform research on current AI trends, technologies, and best practices to assist the team in staying up to date
- Analyze and process large datasets to extract meaningful insights for AI model development
- Testing and Evaluation of AI Models
- Assist in testing AI models to ensure they are functioning as expected
- Identify and address potential issues or inaccuracies in AI systems
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
- Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and other teams to align AI solutions with business goals
- Contribute ideas and insights during team meetings, offering solutions to optimize AI solutions
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of AI experiments, model development processes, and results
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations summarizing the outcomes of AI research or experiments
- Market Research and Proof of Concept Development
- Conduct market research on available AI technologies and platforms
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to evaluate and compare tools for potential adoption
- Executive Engagement
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership
- Participate in strategic discussions to align AI initiatives with organizational goals
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java
- Knowledge of AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is an advantage
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, linear algebra, and calculus to develop and evaluate machine learning models
- Familiarity with data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques using libraries such as Pandas or Numpy
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize models
- Ability to clearly communicate findings, challenges, and solutions to team members
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), and version control systems (Git) is beneficial
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Previous coursework or projects related to machine learning or AI is a plus
