The role involves developing in-house cloud application frameworks, understanding trading platform intricacies, and coordinating with stakeholders to design solutions. Responsibilities: - Build a suite of software using Java, Flink, and Pulsar to identify pricing inefficiencies in live trading markets - Assist with development of in-house hybrid cloud application frameworks - Understand the full lifecycle and intricacies of a trading platform, including observability and deployment - Interact and develop against third-party hybrid cloud messaging, data, observability, and deployment platforms - Share ideas, experience, and knowledge with other members of the team - Provide feedback to leadership on team health and processes to continuously improve productivity, tooling, and code quality - Coordinate directly with stakeholders and firm leaders to plan work and design solutions - Propose architectural improvements to the system to improve reliability, latency, and throughput - Plan and lead projects, including breaking down and assigning work to other engineers Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering - 12-months' experience in developing applications using Java or Kotlin and the utilization and application of quantitative models Required Skills: Java, Kotlin, Quantitative models Benefits: Discretionary bonuses
