Job Description
Team Leader (3rd Shift)
Must be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. In addition to being a productive member of the work group, the Team Leader is responsible for coordinating production to ensure established guidelines for quality and productivity are met and improved in the work area.
Essential Job Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed.)
- Obtains knowledge of workflow and processes necessary to meet daily production goals of assigned area
- Ensures that the work group has the necessary supplies and materials to meet production goals
- Informs supervisor/manager of any potential problems and/or issues with personnel
- Responsible for reporting any potential safety hazards and/or machinery defects to appropriate personnel
- Ensures that all associates perform duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company safety policies
- Works closely with internal departments to make sure all order information (including artwork, decoration method, etc.) is accurate and complete in order to produce the highest quality product
- Responsible for inspecting own work, and the work of others, to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest quality product possible
- Practices and promotes the usage of problem solving, process improvement, and teamwork principles
- Ensures that housekeeping is maintained at an acceptable level at all times
- Reliable, regular attendance is essential
- Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work
- Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Production Environment, preferred
- Results-oriented
- Strong, positive leadership skills, required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
