Human Resources Assistant
Full Time Hourly · Location: Administrative, Davie, FL, US
Behavior Analysis, Inc. is a leading provider of behavioral services within the autism community in south Florida. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team.
The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, organized, proactive, receptive to feedback, and able to manage confidential information with professionalism. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a collaborative, professional office environment.

Education Requirements:
- Minimum of Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year providing human resources support
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
- Ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed, processed, and maintained accurately
- Conducting periodic audits of personnel files and employee documentation
- Assisting in monitoring employee compliance with company policies and procedures
- Providing assistance with the hiring and onboarding process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, screening and interviewing candidates, performing reference checks, and conducting new-hire orientations
- Supporting with the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) plans
- Processing and maintaining documentation related to employee status changes, including enrollments, terminations, and COBRA administration
- Uploading, organizing, and maintaining all personnel documentation in company databases and HR systems
- Providing general administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Monday through Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
