Full time, salaried, 90-day probationary period

Job Description:
The candidate must be able to work independently or with Engineers on the development of original equipment designs or adaptations. Performs complex computer aided designs with emphasis on functionality, manufacturing, and maintainability. Employs the best combination of information and contributing data to develop final design. Ability to utilize a data management system to manage change on equipment bills of materials. Handles special projects, as assigned. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

Essential Functions:
Candidate will have detailed work instruction to convert customer requirements into detailed engineering specifications, including drawings and bill of
Candidate will work with the creation of typical component fabrication & assembly drawings, and equipment General Arrangement drawings.
Create, update, and maintain drawings in AutoCAD, Inventor and Plant 3D
Modify existing Project drawings for modification and upgrade projects.
Maintain Project & Product drawings under change control in AutoDesk Vault
Check each design against job
In design, consider form, fit, and function; safety in assembly, maintenance, and operation; method and ease of manufacture; method and ease of assembly and appropriate materials of
Support customer required delivery by meeting deadlines for supplying drawings to customers and manufacturing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
4-year Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or technician degree and equivalent
Entry level engineer with 1-3 years of experience in drafting
Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor software for
Experience in ASME code, industry standards, Drafting and design
Experience with P&ID’s and Electrical drawings and diagrams is
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Plant 3D and Inventor computer
Working knowledge of international standards such as ISO, ASME and NEC,
Knowledge of fabrication techniques such as welding, machining etc.
Ability to interpret technical
Knowledge in both PVC and Metal
Knowledge of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and skid assemblies
Ability to work without close supervision and accomplish assignment to high quality and on
Detail oriented with a focus on first time quality, able to create and check
Ability to select Materials based on design
Able to collaborate and problem solve with others in a team
Able to meet metrics for productivity and meet deadlines on a high volume of
Possess a valid driver’s license
Travel up to 10% possible
