They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern who will assist the project manager team with engineering responsibilities, including design and field observation activities, as well as document production in AutoCAD and/or Revit. Responsibilities: - Precon Assistance - Takeoff’s - Estimate reviews - Job-site walk thru’s - Other/Miscellaneous tasks for putting together an estimate and proposal - Operations – PM Assistance - Submittal and RFI processing - Attending meetings and tracking action items/notes - Vendor and subcontractor management assistance - Regular field visits to interface with foremen - Jobsite inspections for schedule, quality and safety reviews - Compiling closeout documents - End of Assignment Presentation Required Qualifications: - Must be currently enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited US college or university - Interested in working in the MEP field - Intermediate experience in Access and Excel - Effective statistical analysis skills - Effective research and communication skills - Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results - Ability to work collaboratively and independently - Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units - Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills Required Skills: AutoCAD, Revit Important Skills: Excel, Access Nice-to-Have Skills: Statistical analysis, Research skills, Oral skills, Written skills
