They are seeking a Machine Assembly Technician Intern to assist in the assembly and routing of electrical systems, operate manufacturing equipment, and troubleshoot basic systems. Responsibilities: - Help in the assembly/routing of electrical systems from schematics - Working with electric motors, conveying systems, pneumatic devices, and electrical controls - Participating in the interface between machine assembly and other departments - Assisting in the assembly of machinery, and routing of hydraulic and pneumatics - Operating manufacturing equipment and other shop equipment - Basic system troubleshooting - Any other assigned duties Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in high school or maintenance trade school, equivalent programs years of applicable experience - Must be comfortable working in/on manlifts to 35' - Ability to comply with all safety requirements - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; able to properly prioritize - Experience with personal computers, networking, and Windows-based software - Have good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety - Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work - Ability to comply will all work-related deadlines and be available as needed for overtime - Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment - Willing to assist in other areas as needed Required Skills: Electrical systems assembly, Electric motors, Conveying systems, Pneumatic devices, Electrical controls, Hydraulic systems, Manufacturing equipment operation, Windows-based software, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
