Job Description
Summary: Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging industry. The Sales Enablement & Reporting Intern supports the global sales organization by helping translate strategy into execution through clear reporting, enablement content, and performance communications, working closely with the Director of Sales Enablement & Performance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation, maintenance, and validation of recurring sales performance reports and dashboards (weekly/monthly)
- Assist in translating raw data into seller- and leader-friendly views that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities
- Help validate reporting accuracy and flag data inconsistencies that impact leadership visibility
- May help prepare summary slides and visuals for leadership updates and sales communications
- Help identify gaps in sales enablement resources (training materials, job aids, recordings, templates)
- Analyze content and resources to determine which are being used and effective
- Assist in drafting and formatting global sales communications, including performance updates, training announcements, and campaign launches
- Support the preparation of content for global and regional sales meetings
- Support enablement-related CRM initiatives by helping document standards, best practices, and how-to guidance for sales teams
- Assist with tracking adoption indicators such as training completion and engagement metrics
- Partner with Sales Enablement, Commercial Operations, and other stakeholders to reinforce consistent usage expectations
- Support sales campaigns, recognition programs, and enablement initiatives through tracking, reporting, and communications
- Help compile and summarize inputs for incentive-related visibility and performance recognition activities
- Asset Auditing & Organization – Reviewing current assets for all BW Packaging brands to assist in creation of meaningful customer account lists for each sales executive
- Document enablement processes and standard work (simple SOPs, checklists, templates)
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and communications through templates or light automation
- Participate in meetings, capture action items, and support follow-through on enablement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, Communications, Finance, or a related field
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with data and visuals
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Interest in sales enablement, commercial strategy, analytics, or business operations
- Ability to collaborate across teams to drive solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Power BI or other dashboarding/reporting tools
- Familiarity with CRM concepts such as leads, opportunities, and pipeline stages
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience creating presentations, reports, or training materials
- Curiosity about how sales teams work and what drives performance
