Overview
Barings is looking for an IT Delivery Lead who will play a critical role in supporting technical aspects of planning, designing and executing Network transformation(s) and Network risk-based program(s) that cross WAN/LAN, firewall, Security, A/V and Unified Collaboration capabilities. This individual will be responsible for driving the delivery of technology integration initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring seamless alignment between infrastructure, applications, and cyber security.
This is a hands-on driving role that demands deep expertise in both technology integration and change management. The focus goes beyond managing task lists to ensuring cross-dependencies are addressed, and adoption and training considerations are fully integrated into the plan. The ideal candidate will not simply coordinate activities—they will proactively lead, influence, and align cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
This role requires strong engagement with UK-based resources and flexibility to support earlier morning US conversations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
Apply broad systems and infrastructure knowledge—including cloud platforms, networks, servers, APIs, integration patterns, cyber and end‑user technologies—to develop comprehensive, end‑to‑end delivery plans.
Assess and manage technical dependencies to build risk‑based integration and execution runbooks.
Evaluate application types (COTS, SaaS, and custom‑built) and their hosting environments to create effective transition and implementation plans.
Challenge technical teams constructively to ensure all tasks, dependencies, and risks are fully identified, escalating roadblocks and ensuring readiness for a successful transition event.
Integration Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive infrastructure and application integration plans for Network activities.
Ensure alignment of technical solutions with all objectives and timelines.
Drive end-to-end delivery of Network activities, including dependencies across multiple teams.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure delivery success and report progress to executive leadership.
IT Technical Delivery & Change Management
Lead IT delivery governance, reporting, and risk management for service delivery initiatives.
Identify and apply the most appropriate methodology (e.g., Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum) to manage the work effectively, recognizing that the optimal approach may vary across teams such as infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity.
Apply change management principles to ensure smooth execution and testing of deployed or changed capabilities.
Create and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
Testing & Adoption
Define and oversee testing strategies for systems and applications.
Ensure readiness for deployment and successful adoption across impacted business units.
Monitor post-test performance and address issues promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related activities.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts to keep delivery elements on track.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related experience
Experience:
10+ years in IT service delivery or technology project management (TPM).
5+ years executing and driving complex change management programs
Proven experience in managing network and risk-based programs at significant scale.

Skills:
Expertise in service delivery methodologies, tools and agile frameworks
