The Macro and Market Research Intern will assist in enhancing research capabilities and conduct analyses on macroeconomic factors and their impact on banking strategies. Responsibilities: - Conduct researches in fields including but not limited to the macro economy, financial markets, and the banking industry, as well as their impacts on the bank’s strategies and businesses - Provide both periodic and adhoc research reports under guidance - Offer expert knowledge and timely advisories to departments in fields such as interest rate trends Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required - Proven track record of macro research or banking industry research - Good verbal and written communication - Banking industry or financial services experience: 0-2 year Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree/Ph.D. in Finance/Economics/other quantitative fields preferred - Ideally experience in econometrics Required Skills: Macro research, Banking industry research, Econometrics, Financial services experience
