Job Description
Summary: Bank of America is committed to helping make financial lives better through every connection. The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role involves obtaining Securities Industry licenses and developing skills to manage client relationships and provide financial advice. This position offers training and support for career advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain Securities Industry licenses, including SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Exams
- Learn foundational skills needed to be an advisor, including managing client relationships and providing financial advice
- Work in a financial center to deliver banking and investment solutions
- Progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II after demonstrating success as a licensed advisor
- Participate in training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions using a consultative approach
- Build a network by interacting with banking customers and small business owners
- Provide comprehensive advice and recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals
- Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client's interest in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
- Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
- Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
