A. KEY PURPOSE FOR THE JOB:

Responsible for repairing machines and providing support when it comes to usage of machines and electrical components.

QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

• BE - Mechanical Engineering- 1 Yrs. to 1.5 Yrs.
• Diploma - Mechanical Engineering- 1 Yrs. to 1.5 Yrs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Carry out Machine maintenance activity/ work on assigned projects by the superiors.

2. Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all Mechanical equipment, components, and installations

3.Provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible

4. Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide immediate solution and Take countermeasures.

5. Ensure that equipment's are in good working order so as to prevent disruption of activities

6. Installation of fresh Mechanical components and fittings.

7. Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management

8, Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the maintenance department. Keep record of all stock

Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.

10. KAIZEN Activity -Help the organization to reduce energy costs & Safety ext.

11. Learn new skills and attend training programs in other to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry,

12, Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented,

13, Purchase Mechanical components or supervise the staff charged with the responsibility.

14. Supervise Mechanical works when new projects are undertakens

15. Support for new machinery installations and commissioning of the projects.

16. Understand the problems in machinery & systems pertaining Mechanical design and coordinate with cross-functional teams for proactive solutions.

17. Set standards for Housekeeping, 6S, Safety and ensure safe working environment.

18. Handle any other activities assigned by superiors based upon the organisational requirements.
