Summary: Baird is a financial services firm, and they are seeking an Automation & AI Solutions Intern to design, build, and deploy automation and AI solutions for investment banking workflows. The intern will work closely with technology partners and business leaders to improve efficiency and decision-making throughout the deal lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Identify and automate manual processes across the Global Investment Banking deal lifecycle using Power Automate and Power Apps - Design and build end-to-end workflow solutions that integrate data from systems such as Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint, and Excel - Prototype, test, and deliver AI-enabled use cases using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, and Rogo - Build custom Copilot agents and AI-driven tools to support research, document synthesis, data extraction and decision support - Actively participate in discussions with business and technology stakeholders and present delivered solutions and outcomes - Produce clear technical documentation to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability of delivered solutions Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field - Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) - Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts - Curiosity and enthusiasm for automation and artificial intelligence, with hands-on experimentation using tools such as Power Automate, Copilot, or large language models - Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail - Comfort working collaboratively and in person with cross-functional teams Required Skills: Python, SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, Large language models, Relational data concepts Benefits: Jumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!, You’ll gain real-world experience, connect with inspiring leaders and grow through hands-on projects, mentorship and dynamic events., From our Intern Welcome and Baird Gives Back Day to firmwide networking and professional development, you’ll be part of a vibrant, collaborative culture that values your voice and fuels your future.
