BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Aegis/SSDS Computer Network Technician. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Aegis and SSDS tactical networks in accordance with the Navy 3-M system. Equipment includes but is not limited to the Mk 6 MOD 0 Computing Infrastructure (ACI) Client/Server Nodes and Networks, Mission Critical Equipment (MCE) cabinets, Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers, OJ-774(V) Command Control Group (CCG), OJ-719(V) Command and Decision (C&D) Consoles, OJ-723B(V) Peripheral Control Station (PCS) W/Information Assurance (IA), OJ830(V)1 Tactical Computer Console (TCC), OL-724 Computer Groups, Tactical, Ship Self Defense (V1, V2 and V3), and Automated Status Boards (ASTABS), Operating and maintaining the Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS) Servers, Thin Client Displays (TCD), Virtual Data Acquisition Converters (VDAC) and Data Busses for testing and Fault Detection/Fault Isolation (FD/FI) for the Aegis/SSDS Weapon System. You will also need to become intimately familiar with additional equipment interfaces associated existing and Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) Systems, Intercommunications Interconnecting Groups, and Radar Set Control Consoles.

Work is performed at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA. SCSC is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and provides AEGIS and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) combat systems for engineering, testing, training, and certification.
