The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Business area provides actionable intelligence for our warfighters and decision makers through innovative technical solutions from the seas to the stars. Space Systems is a premier provider of advanced high-reliability space electronics and mission systems. Our products have enabled a wide variety of civil, commercial, and national security space missions for over 25 years. We’re leading the way with the development of advanced processing solutions, RF and optical payloads, and cross-domain solutions that enable our customers to deliver mission capability that was previously not achievable.
As a DevOps Systems Engineer in the Space System Product line, your key responsibilities will include working with the ISSE and other platform engineers supporting System Administration activities on classified cloud processing assets and mission unique equipment. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for learning, and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality services in a cloud ecosystem. Your tasks may include:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of this particular role, the work will be performed full-time on site. This position is based out of our Merrimack NH facilities in the Northeast.

- Resolving system configuration and security patching vulnerability issues.
- Managing system configuration changes and accurately assessing the impact of system and security configuration modifications upon operational system performance, security posture and compliance.
- Performing platform installations and configurations of all development and delivered systems
- Implement and maintain the cloud infrastructure in accordance with best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, understanding application needs.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and continuous integration using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar technologies.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement optimizations to enhance system availability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to infrastructure, networking, and application deployment in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps to continuously improve the infrastructure and development processes.
