Responsibilities: - Complete interdepartmental rotation of key hotel departments - Gain general overview of operations of the hotels; both full service and select service - Review Group contracts and BEOs and process for developing these documents - Review Catering Menus and process for design and costing - Shadow leaders for each key area (sales, catering, marketing, revenue management) - Provide social media and digital marketing support to hotel teams - Enhance marketing and recruitment presence on company website - Assist with review and explanation of weekly sales and STR reports - Identify and implement improvements to current processes Required Qualifications: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) - Strong analytical skills - Attention to detail - Able to meet multiple priorities and deadlines - Able to travel locally to hotels in the area (Northern Virginia and Maryland) Preferred Qualifications: - A current student or recent graduate of a Hospitality or Business program from an accredited college or university - 3.0 GPA or higher Required Skills: Social Media Management, Event Planning, Sales Systems Important Skills: Microsoft Office, Analytical Skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Meeting Deadlines Benefits: Healthcare benefits, A 401(k) plan, Short-term and long-term disability coverage, Basic life insurance, Bonus plans
