Summary: B&B Airparts is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to work in an industrial production environment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical defects, completing preventive maintenance routines, and assisting with grounds keeping and housekeeping responsibilities. Responsibilities: - Handle privileged and confidential information in a secure manor - Work safely with high voltages, chemicals, mechanical assemblies - Think and act with security in mind - Minor housekeeping and production tasks - Grounds keeping of all kinds, year round - Electrical and mechanical repairs - Preventive maintenance on all production machinery and facility - Continuously improve your skill set and methods of preforming your job - Miscellaneous tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 years experience preforming maintenance duties in an industrial setting - Ability to stand for long periods of time - High level of dedication and motivation for your job with a positive attitude - Ability to lift at least 50 lbs - Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting - Must have reliable transportation - Ability to read and write English - Must be a self-starter with the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision - Strong problem solving skills a must - Strong communication skills and good attention to detail - Education and/ or experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance - Must provide required tools and secure storage for them - Excellent attendance with the requirement for overtime work as needed - The ability to respond to an after-hours call in, promptly anytime day or night - Basic Computer and industrial automation skills Required Skills: Electrical maintenance, Mechanical maintenance, Safety standards, Personal protective equipment, Industrial automation, Preventive maintenance, High voltage safety, Chemical safety, Mechanical assembly repair
