They are seeking a Funder to review and fund closing documents for loan transactions, ensuring compliance with investor requirements and TRID regulations while supporting multiple aspects of loan closing operations. Responsibilities: - Review loan files and closing packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines - Generate and issue Closing Disclosures (CDs) in accordance with TRID requirements - Draw and prepare loan documents in alignment with investor specifications - Coordinate with internal teams such as underwriting, processing, closing, and post-closing to resolve conditions and ensure timely funding/purchasing - Identify and address discrepancies or documentation issues prior to funding - Maintain a high level of accuracy and adherence to timelines in a fast-paced environment - Post journal entries and board loans to servicing platform Required Qualifications: - HS Diploma required - 1+ year of experience within Mortgage - Experience in the closing department of a lender - Must have in-depth knowledge of RESPA and TRID guidelines - Capable of drawing closing documents through a third-party software (i.e. DocMagic) - Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results - Superb verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills - Excellent customer service and organizational skills - Attention to detail is a must, along with a keen eye for identifying problems - Ability to work in a team environment - Strong math skills and computer literacy - Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to perform multiple functions throughout the day as the need arises - Knowledge of investor guidelines and suspense clearance for loan purchase Required Skills: Mortgage Closing Processes, TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) Regulations, RESPA Guidelines, DocMagic, Loan Funding, Investor Guidelines, Loan Documentation, Journal Entries Posting, Servicing Platform, Math Skills, Computer Literacy Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year), HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits, 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan, Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading
