Summary: Axon is on a mission to Protect Life through innovative technology and cloud software. As a High School Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in STEM-focused projects, working alongside industry professionals to develop problem-solving skills and technical expertise in AI and machine learning. Responsibilities: - Contribute to bold mission through meaningful work in STEM-focused internships tracks designed to give you real-world experience in technology, engineering, innovation, and problem solving - Work with image and sensor data, help improve data annotation workflows, and learn how labeled data supports the development of machine learning systems - Explore datasets, build simple automation tools, evaluate output quality using technical metrics, and present findings to a research and engineering audience Required Qualifications: - An interest in or curiosity in software engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning. This interest may come from classes, clubs, personal projects, community programs, or self-directed learning - Sharp thinking and curiosity. You ask thoughtful questions, explore new ideas, and aren't afraid to challenge yourself or the status quo - Adaptability and resilience. You're open to feedback, willing to learn from mistakes, and ready to grow in a fast-moving environment - Unstoppable drive to learn.
