Finance Intern - FP&A (paid & remote) at Axiom in Remote

Summary: Axiom is a forefront leader in transforming the legal landscape by offering on-demand, top-tier legal talent to various industries. The FP&A Intern will join the FP&A team in providing analytical insight and analysis on Axiom's financial performance. Responsibilities: - Supports the FP&A team through active response and support on key analyses as needed to ensure all requests are handled in a timely manner - Gathers relevant data by working with our finance team to inform various analyses - Teams with the other Analysts on the FP&A Team to provide clear, concise, and accurate responses to any requests. Acts as back up to the other Analysts as needed - Supports efforts to clean up Axiom's financial performance on a matter-level - Prepares financial analysis including RBD, yield, retention, and sales volume analysis based on financial results - Communicates and interacts intra-departmentally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT and Finance Required Qualifications: - Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills - Effective in cross-departmental communication - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly in using lookups, pivot tables, and nested formulas - Attention to detail - Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Some understanding of accounting and finance - Demonstrate a collaborative spirit by supporting the FP&A team and stepping in when needed Required Skills: Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Analytical skills, Accounting understanding Benefits: Accommodation for Individuals with Disabilities
