Job Description
Summary: Avnet is a global, FORTUNE 500 technology distributor and solutions company that focuses on delivering design, supply chain, and logistics expertise. The Business Analyst Intern will engage in hands-on projects within a collaborative team, gaining practical insights into the company's business activities and internal operations while enhancing soft skills and networking opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in valuable hands-on projects within a collaborative team setting
- Gain practical insights into the company's business activities and internal operations
- Undergo an intern learning journey, complementing work projects with opportunities to enhance soft skills, receive documented performance feedback, connect with executive leadership, and participate in networking and enjoyable team-building events
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
- Must be available for full-time seasonal work from May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026
- Selected candidate must provide their own housing and transportation
- Those majoring in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or Economics
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (visible on your resume)
- PC skills including: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work and school related activities
- Excellent communication, collaboration and team building skills as evidenced in your experience or course work
- Self-driven and independent, capable of working a project/assignment with clear direction while not requiring daily supervision
- Willingness to try new things
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate degree program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest or background in technology is highly preferred
- Students that have completed coursework in their fields of study; typically, those students finishing their Junior year by May 2026 are highly preferred
