Summary: Avid Bioservices is offering a 10-week paid internship for a Data Analyst in Operational Excellence. The intern will partner with the team to transform complex data into actionable insights and design Power BI dashboards for operational metrics. Responsibilities: - Work with the Operational Excellence team to define key performance metrics - Ingest, clean, and structure data from multiple, often unstructured sources - Design data models to support reliable analysis and visualization - Develop and refine Power BI dashboards based on stakeholder feedback - Document data sources, transformations, and assumptions - Definition of operational metrics and reporting requirements - Data preparation and structuring from disparate inputs - Development of 1–2 Power BI dashboards - Delivery of visual insights to support continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to learn tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, MS Lists, Smartsheet - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to meet deadlines - Interest in analytics and data science - Ability to handle confidential information appropriately - Availability to work full-time for the duration of the internship at our Tustin, CA facility - Authorization to work in the country where the internship is located Required Skills: Power BI, SQL Important Skills: Excel, Data analysis Benefits: Mentorship: Your manager and team will provide training, mentorship, and development opportunities., Weekly Check-ins and 1:1s: Conduct both on a weekly basis to ensure clear communication and support for our interns., Performance Assessments: Conduct mid and end of program performance assessments to be provided with constructive criticism and feedback to help you grow and succeed., Internship Experiences: Intern Open House, Summer Leadership Series, Lunch & Learns, Site Tours, End of Program Presentation
