This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on front-end analytics: building intuitive, well-structured reports and dashboards that turn complex data into clear decisions. You will work closely with data engineers who own the underlying infrastructure, and partner with stakeholders across Dev Services, Portfolio, and IT to ensure our analytics solutions meet both current needs and emerging regulatory reporting requirements. You will also actively mentor teammates and serve as a go-to resource for analytics best practices across the team.

Lead the translation of business and stakeholder requirements into clear, intuitive analytics experiences.
Own Power BI workspace management, deployment pipelines, and environment promotion.
Establish and promote best practices for report design, DAX development, data model structure, and row-level security.
Advise stakeholders on data processes that support better long-term reporting outcomes, including how work items should be structured and tagged in Azure DevOps to enable meaningful trend tracking, as well as naming conventions, refresh schedules, and report organization standards.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data assets are structured in ways that support effective reporting.
Support the development of reporting solutions that address internal compliance and evolving regulatory reporting obligations.
Actively mentor team members on Power BI development and analytics best practices.
Contribute to sprint planning and roadmap discussions in partnership with engineering leadership.
Core Skills and Qualifications
12+ years of experience in analytics, BI development, or data reporting roles.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), semantic model design, row-level security, and deployment pipeline management.
Strong experience with Power BI workspace management, report lifecycle management, and deployment best practices.
Proven ability to translate complex stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable reporting solutions.
Experience advising teams on data processes and structures that improve reporting quality and long-term tracking.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps as a data source, including work item structures and REST APIs.
Familiarity with underlying data sources such as Azure SQL, SharePoint, and REST APIs, sufficient to collaborate effectively with data engineers.
Experience with source control and change management practices for analytics assets.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile teams across distributed, global locations.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop others on analytics and BI skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or equivalent data lineage tooling.
