Summary: AeroVironment is seeking entry level engineering candidates to support a variety of aerospace and defense programs. The role involves supporting mechanical design activities, system assembly, integration, and test of hardware, while assisting engineers with SolidWorks models and drawings. Responsibilities: - Supporting mechanical design activities of various projects including modeling electro-mechanical systems, electrical enclosures, opto-mechanical systems, etc - Supporting system assembly, integration, and test of the above hardware - Assist other engineers in creating and updating SolidWorks models and drawings Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in process in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year university - Desire to pursue a career in Mechanical engineering for Aerospace and defense systems - Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SolidWorks CAD software - Experience with FEA software - Hands-on experience (machine shop, assembly, automotive, etc.).
