Summary: AeroVironment, Inc. is a premier autonomous systems company in the U.S. seeking a Finance Intern to gain exposure to financial operations and data analysis. This role will involve shadowing finance team members, performing financial analyses, and handling sensitive information with integrity. Responsibilities: - Shadows members of the Finance team as they perform their duties - Performs financial analyses - Handles sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity - Performs additional projects as needed to learn more about financial operations - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Completed coursework relevant to major - Proficient with Microsoft Office applications - Ability to work out of our Huntsville, AL office - Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility - Exhibits motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible - Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Thrives on innovation and challenge - Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties - Has effective problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills - Focuses on teamwork, collaboration and puts the success of the team above one's own interests - Ability to work in an office environment (Constant) - Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) - This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
