Job Description
As an Associate Auditor, you will work in a team-driven setting to execute audit assignments, assess business processes, and identify risks. They present insights to stakeholders and collaborate to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls. This role blends analytical rigor with cross-functional communication and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Gain Deep Process Insight in the audited process by engaging with key personnel, researching systems and strategies, and observing operations to understand objectives and risks
- Translate complex business processes into clear, visual documentation using tools like Visio to support analysis and communication
- Design and execute targeted audit test steps to evaluate the strength of internal controls and uncover opportunities to streamline operations
- Use data-driven techniques to detect trends, anomalies, and risk indicators, assess control effectiveness, and quantify the impact of improvement opportunities
- Partner with audit team members and company leadership to recommend practical, sustainable enhancements that boost operational performance and reinforce control frameworks.
- Prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely completion of audit assignments with high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Education: You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, International Business, or a related business discipline.
- Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in general business acumen, including knowledge of core financial concepts and operational principles.
- Tech Savvy: You possess basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with data analysis platforms.
- Organizational Skills: You bring strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently as a self-starter. In addition, you are curious and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
You’ll go the Extra Mile if you have
- Education: You possess a master’s degree in a relevant business field.
- Experience: You have 1-3 years of experience in applying data analytics in audit or business process evaluations and exposure to internal controls frameworks and process improvement methodologies.
- Tech Savvy: You possess familiarity with audit software or visualization tools such as Visio.
