Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Sales Operations Supervisor
This position provides budget, forecasting and financial analysis support and financial reports to the various operating units within the organization for management decision making. The position supervises preparation of cost/benefit analyses on various goals and objectives to assist in determining those projects that will benefit the organization and will require funding for budget purposes. The position also prepares more complicated cost/benefit analyses due to the experience level and knowledge and provides training and supervision to other staff in the Department. This position is responsible for the preparation of the organization's annual budget and monthly forecast, as well as supervises the organization's planning process. In addition, this position reviews and prepares various management reports for Executive Management associated with the various products and business lines.
Job Duties
Supervise the organization’s planning process by developing (a) integrated business plans for each line of business, (b) goals and objectives, and (c) reports on the status of the goals to senior management and Board of Directors. Track benefits of goals after implementation and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and review various management reports, including updating current reports, creating new reports that are relevant to changing business needs and documenting how reports are prepared.
Prepare and supervise preparation of the organization's annual budget and monthly forecast.
Monitor organization expenses and make recommendations on resource allocation and resource realignment.
Supervise and train Financial Analysts in preparing analyses, budgets, forecasts and management reports
Provide financial consulting services for new business opportunities, including cost containment and/or revenue opportunities.
Prepare complex cost/benefit analyses and develop significant and/or complex financial models for various operating units.
Set goals, track progress and prepare periodic performance reviews for financial analysts.
Work performed can vary significantly, especially with regards to financial analyses and the complex nature of the budgeting process. Financial analyses can relate to anything that needs financial review for management decision making. The Supervisor, Budgets & Financial Analysis must be self-sufficient and make decisions with little or no direction and must have knowledge of and understand the various business lines and operating units. In addition, the Supervisor Budgets & Financial Analysis must possess the experience and ability to develop an approach to preparing and reviewing a cost/benefit analysis or operating budget and ensuring data is accurate and presentable to upper management.
Other tasks may be more routine, such as preparing and/or reviewing monthly reports for executive management on various statistics, products and business lines.
Qualifications
Bachelors equivalent combination of education and experience
4-6 years progressively increasing response in supervisory management.
2-4 years experience with Salesforce, especially with lead management, sales cadences, and effective implementations
Experience with Genesys, including use of analytics, optimization, and integrations preferred
Financial analysis skills including proven ability to accurately compile, analyze, and provide reporting for large quantities of complex data required.
Advanced professional verbal and written communication skills required.
Proficiency in SQL, AWS, and visualization with Tableau preferred.
General organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to multitask and meet project deadlines as set by executive management required.
Proven interpersonal skills working in a team environment required.
Ability to delegate and oversee projects and assignments to other employees.
Advanced ability to express complex technical concepts in terms non-technical people can understand required.
Advanced presentation skills and the ability to interface with executive and senior management required.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to off-site business meetings or conferences. (5% proficiency)
The starting pay range for this position is:
$99,500.00 - $132,900.00
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
