Job Responsibilities
• Ensure implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and statutory compliance at the project site.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor work permits for high-risk activities such as hot work, work at height, confined space entry, excavation, lifting operations, and electrical work.
• Carry out risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programmes for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
• Monitor compliance during civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, and safety audits.
• Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, and statutory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and applicable Indian safety regulations.

Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards and EHS Management Systems.
• Hands-on experience in power plant construction or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), HIRA, JSA, Incident Investigation, and Safety Audits.
• Familiarity with IS standards, Factory Act, BOCW Act, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
