Job Description
Auro Realty Private Limited is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Manager Legal to manage real estate legal matters, high-value transactions, contractual documentation, regulatory compliance, and litigation coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in real estate laws, contract drafting, negotiation, and title document review.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize high-value real estate transaction documents, including:
- Agreements to Sell
- Sale Deeds
- Lease Deeds
- Powers of Attorney
- Development Agreements
- Other real estate-related contracts and legal documents.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), procurement contracts, service provider agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel to manage litigation and post-project legal issues, ensuring timely resolution and smooth functioning of projects.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of real estate title documents to identify potential legal risks, discrepancies, and title-related concerns.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on real estate transactions, contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Support the business and project teams in identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with real estate operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in real estate legal matters.
- Strong expertise in real estate transaction documentation, contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of real estate regulatory compliance and applicable legal frameworks.
- Experience in title document review and preliminary legal due diligence.
- Strong litigation coordination and external counsel management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in real estate companies, property development organizations, or reputed law firms specializing in real estate are preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate documentation, contractual obligations, and legal risk management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
