The Civil Engineering Intern will support project teams in the Real Estate and Land Development market by assisting with various engineering tasks and project documentation. Responsibilities: - Offer support to senior engineers by utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D and understanding plan interpretations - Provide project support by assisting in drafting documents, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, and utility computations - Conduct research on properties and projects for zoning including local and state requirements - Complete site visits and field assignments as needed - Assist in providing construction-related services such as permit applications, construction plans, and other related construction documents - Communicate with the Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status to meet designated chargeability goals Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University - Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Proven ability to work well both within a team and independently Preferred Qualifications: - Entry-level experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred Required Skills: AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft 365, Plan Interpretation, Zoning Research, Construction Permit Applications, Construction Plans, Site Analysis, Utility Computations Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
