The Beverage Storeroom Manager is responsible for the overall management, control, and operation of all beverage storerooms within the property. This position ensures efficient inventory management, accurate requisition fulfillment, proper storage practices, cost control, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Manager oversees Beverage Storeroom Attendants and other assigned team members, ensuring beverage products are received, stored, issued, and tracked accurately to support all casino bars, restaurants, lounges, and service outlets. The role is accountable for maintaining inventory integrity, minimizing losses, and ensuring exceptional operational support for the Beverage Department.
Primary Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Directly supervise Beverage Storeroom Attendants and other assigned storeroom personnel. Establish performance expectations and ensure team members adhere to departmental standards and procedures. Schedule staffing levels to meet operational demands while maintaining labor efficiency. Ensure team members follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Receiving & Inventory Management Oversee the receiving process for all beverage deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchasing specifications. Verify that products are inspected for damages, spoilage, expiration dates, and correct labeling. Ensure all inventory is stored according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and operational standards. Maintain appropriate par levels across all beverage storerooms. Monitor inventory movement and initiate replenishment orders as required. Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, overages, and product quality concerns. Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Beverage Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability. Requisition Fulfillment & Distribution Ensure all beverage requisitions are accurately processed and fulfilled in a timely manner. Oversee product distribution to bars, restaurants, lounges, and other operating outlets. Monitor issuance records and inventory transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy. Collaborate with outlet managers regarding special requests, event requirements, substitutions, and operational needs. Ensure established service levels are consistently maintained throughout the operation. Inventory Control & Cost Management Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual beverage inventory counts. Analyze inventory variances and investigate discrepancies. Develop and maintain controls to reduce wastage, theft, and product loss. Review inventory reports and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings. Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions within inventory management systems. Prepare inventory-related reports, variance analyses, and operational summaries as required. Storeroom Organization & Sanitation Ensure all beverage storerooms remain organized, clean, and fully compliant with health, safety, and company standards. Conduct routine inspections of storage areas, refrigerators, shelving, and equipment. Ensure expired, damaged, or compromised products are properly documented and disposed of according to established procedures. Implement corrective actions when deficiencies are identified. Production & Beverage Preparation Oversight Safety, Security & Compliance Maintain strict security controls for alcoholic beverages and other controlled inventory items. Monitor access to beverage storerooms and investigate any security concerns. Ensure team members utilize proper lifting techniques and follow safe material handling procedures. Lead and document incident investigations involving inventory loss, safety concerns, or compliance violations. Maintain readiness for internal and external audits. Requirements Associate's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in beverage operations, inventory control, warehouse management, or hospitality storeroom operations. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of beverage inventory management principles and cost control practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment when required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
