Job Description
Summary: Atlantic Health is a leading non-profit healthcare system headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey. They are seeking a Supply Chain (Distribution) Intern to support supply and distribution operations, ensuring efficient flow of products and materials. The intern will assist with inventory monitoring, product tracking, and operational support activities to maintain supply levels and meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking inventory levels
- Monitor stock movements and help maintain accurate inventory levels
- Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory audits
- Support daily shipping and receiving
- Analyze distribution KPIs such as fill rate, order accuracy, and par levels
- Use tools like Excel and Oracle
- Work with strategic sourcing, warehouse, and customers teams
- Help resolve order issues or shipping delays
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Be in good academic standing
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum or 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026-August 2026
- Must have strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Extremely detailed oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite- Excel Preferred
