Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to DLP alerts from Microsoft Purview and Zscaler.
• Perform incident triage and root cause analysis; escalate complex cases to L3.
• Maintain and update DLP policies and sensitivity labels in Microsoft Purview.
• Troubleshoot endpoint DLP issues (Windows, M365 apps) and Zscaler traffic inspection.
• Execute runbooks for policy tuning, agent redeployment, and configuration fixes.
• Generate compliance and incident reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams for policy enforcement and user support.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and Zscaler DLP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 compliance center and sensitivity labels.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft SC-400 (Information Protection & Compliance)
• Zscaler Certified Cloud Security Specialist (ZCCS)

Role: Data Loss Prevention Engineer L3
Specialization: Microsoft Purview & Zscaler DLP
Experience: 8+ years

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide DLP strategy using Microsoft Purview and Zscaler.
• Architect scalable solutions for data classification, labeling, and protection.
• Integrate Purview and Zscaler DLP controls for unified enforcement.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) for policy deployment and reporting.
• Conduct security assessments and continuous improvement of DLP policies.
• Lead incident response for critical data exfiltration attempts and insider threats.
• Mentor L2 engineers and provide technical escalation support.
• Align DLP policies with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Purview DLP, MIP sensitivity labels, and compliance center.
• Expertise in Zscaler DLP policy configuration and traffic inspection.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, API integration).
• Experience in architecture design and integration with third-party systems.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft SC-400 / SC-401
• Zscaler Certified Cloud Security Specialist (ZCCS)
