We're Hiring | Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon
📍 Location: Al Ain

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a reputable healthcare facility in Al Ain. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, perform surgical procedures, and manage patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise and hospital requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
- Manage trauma and emergency orthopedic cases when required.
- Evaluate and interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide evidence-based non-surgical treatment where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior doctors and other clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and patient-safety standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Orthopedic Surgery**.
- Valid eligibility for **Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon** classification under UAE licensing requirements.
- Significant post-specialization/consultant-level clinical experience.
- Strong expertise in orthopedic surgery and modern surgical techniques.
- Experience managing trauma and complex orthopedic cases is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- **DOH license or eligibility** is preferred.
