Talent Acquisition/HR Intern at AST SpaceMobile in Midland, TX

Summary: AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to support recruiting efforts in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment, providing exposure to full-cycle recruiting and candidate engagement. Responsibilities: - Support full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination - Build and maintain candidate pipelines across technical and non-technical roles - Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement via LinkedIn, email, and phone - Schedule interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process - Assist in reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates based on role requirements - Partner with recruiters to track candidate progress and maintain ATS data accuracy - Support hiring events, career fairs, and on-site interview coordination - Help improve candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up - Assist with reporting and recruiting metrics as needed Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - High attention to detail and organization - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn - Professionalism when interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders - Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment - Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer - Ability to attend recruiting events or on-site interviews as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship, campus leadership, or work experience preferred but not required - Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR - Strong interest in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-growth environments - Familiarity with LinkedIn or other sourcing tools - Exposure to applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus - Experience working in fast-paced or team-oriented environments - Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse or similar) - LinkedIn Recruiter / LinkedIn Talent Solutions - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) - Scheduling tools and shared calendars Required Skills: Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Candidate Sourcing, Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling tools
