Hours:
This is a part-time (20 hours/week), position with expected hours to be worked during business hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Corporate Affairs Senior Coordinator, the Graduate Assistant provides support to the Board of Directors and Committees of the Board in planning, organizing, and administering the meetings and corporate action of the board and committees.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide support to the Corporate Affairs Senior Coordinator with Board of Directors tasks, such as drafting and proofreading minutes, preparing Board meeting documentation, posting agendas, scheduling speakers, tracking resolutions, etc. Provide support to Student Government Advisors in drafting and posting agendas and meeting minutes for the Committees of the Board of Directors. Assist with administration of scholarships and research grants application review and processing. Support Corporate Affairs process automation (task tracking program development and data input). Assist with records retention and disposal management. Assist with maintaining tracking systems for all Board actions. Work with internal and campus partners to schedule meetings. Must maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and attend all safety meetings as scheduled. Assist the Corporate Affairs Senior Coordinator in performing general office duties (typing, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.). Receive and direct all visitor and telephone inquiries ensuring customer service is conducted in a courteous and professional manner. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Establishes and maintains working relationships with various A.S. and University departments
Safety:
Ensures all operations are conducted with safety of staff and customers as first priority, and in accordance with the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and other safety policies. Reports accidents to supervisor and reviews changes required to avoid reoccurrence. Reports maintenance problems and/or broken and unsafe equipment to the appropriate party or supervisor immediately
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required Acceptance and enrollment in a graduate program from Student Affairs Higher Education, Psychology with an emphasis in research, or a related field

Work Environment:
General office environment Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking around campus. The working environment is generally favorable Lighting and temperature are adequate There are no hazardous or unpleasant work conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed in an office environment, with standard office equipment available
