Job Description
Summary: Asset Living is a third-party management firm that fosters thriving communities nationwide. The People & Culture Specialist supports the People & Culture team, contributing to talent management, development, and engagement programs while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support and progressively take ownership of the weekly corporate new hire onboarding program
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of training programs aligned with Asset Living’s goals and objectives
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, location, and materials preparation
- Gather participant feedback and recommend improvements to continuously enhance programs
- Build relationships across the organization to support a positive employee experience and measurable business impact
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of training on employee performance and organizational outcomes
- Learn and develop proficiency in People & Culture technology platforms such as Greenhouse Onboarding, ChartHop, and Asset Engage
- Support mid-year and year-end performance review process in its entirety
- Research and recommend creative strategies to strengthen culture and employee engagement
- Collaborate with leaders to identify development and engagement opportunities across the organization
- Partner cross-functionally on projects and initiatives that streamline processes and elevate the People & Culture function
- Stay current on trends, tools, and best practices in people operations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communication, or a related field preferred, but not required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- 0-2 years of experience in people operations, HR, recruiting, or a related function
- Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting or contributing to programs, events, or initiatives in a professional or academic setting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating conversations in a professional setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfort working with data and basic reporting is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Genuine curiosity about people and workplace culture, with a strong desire to learn and grow
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training platforms is a plus
