External Job Description

Implement a plan for Calibration & Interlock schedule and execute it Ensuring that the Instruments/Equipments including DCS/PLC are maintained at best efficiency Complying the statutory requirement with respect to weights & measurement, AERB etc The Position is also responsible to implement capex in the plant as part of upgradation and productivity improvements The Position is also responsible of procurement and technical evaluation of the tender Ensure continuous running of the plant by Adherence to calibration/PM schedule of InstrumentsMaintaining the assets in Asset like DCS, PLC, Field Instruments, CCTV, UPS etc in best condition to enhance the useful lifeMaintaining the history of maintenance recordBreakdown Maintenance, to reduce breakdown and to increase availability Review of the maintenance scheduleIdentify the root cause of failureImplementation of suitable corrective action and preventive actionReview of the engineering personnel day to day activityCoordinating with the cross functional team to achieve days targetRegular interaction with the team member to check complianceRelease of Annual maintenance contract to maintain the equipment, review of AMC vendorISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 system Training to the engineering personnelImplementation of the maintenance manual at shop floorCheck on the process to ensure no deviationsEnsuring the strict adherence to safety requirement while performing the activities in the fieldSelf- assessment of the process to be done to ensure complianceUpdate of manual with best practice by change management processesRegular check to ensure compliance Critical Spare management Interacting with vendor for the spares, negotiation, and other technical discussionVendor evaluation and vendor selectionReview and approve minimum inventory of critical spares Contractor management Cost control and manpower control in terms of number of persons coming in the plantEnsuring the statutory compliance by the contractor Capex implementation Proposing the capex budget along with the user dept after making a planMaking budgetary proposalPlanning and execution of the capexReview the progress of the capex projectsCost controlReporting the compliance as per plan Cost monitoring Review of the spend against budgetReporting the compliance and in case of any overshoot, Mitigation to be planned Networking /Liasoning and statutory compliance wrt weights & measurement, AERB etc Review of the scheduleMaintaining the certificates as required by the statutory authorityReporting deviations if any and plan for mitigation of the risk Calibration of Equipment and measuring equipment Planning and make a scheduleReview the execution of the planReporting in case of any deviation and making the system rightEnsuring statutory compliance is met DCS/PLC System Checking the healthiness of DCS/PLC system on quarterly basisMaintaining the original software & license required for DCS/PLC systemChecking the interlocks for ensuring the healthinessProgram Backups to be taken & maintained quarterlyAuthorization for any changes required in DCS/MES
