Job Description
Summary: The Arizona Asian Chamber of Commerce is seeking emerging AAPI leaders for a six-month professional development internship in its AAPI Leadership Cohort. The role focuses on building leadership skills, expanding professional networks, learning from established leaders, and contributing to a community-focused capstone project and chamber programming.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in six monthly leadership development sessions
- Be paired with an experienced mentor and established Arizona leader
- Learn directly from executives, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, government representatives, and community advocates
- Participate in discussions focused on leadership, professional development, communication, and community impact
- Build relationships with a network of emerging AAPI professionals and established Arizona leaders
- Collaborate with fellow cohort members on a community-focused capstone project
- Gain experience developing ideas, working collaboratively, and presenting solutions
- Participate in Arizona Asian Chamber events and community programming
- Receive a Certificate of Completion from the Arizona Asian Chamber of Commerce
