The Student Intern Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with patient activities and observing patient status. Responsibilities: - Complete assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor, including assisting patient with activities of daily living and taking vital signs - Observe patient status and responses. Document and report observations to preceptor or other appropriate staff - Assist preceptor with development of care plan by reporting test results and patient observations - Perform other tasks as assigned, including environmental services and preparing/transporting patients for diagnostic services Required Qualifications: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
