We Are Hiring
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee
- Facility: Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital
- Department: Construction
- Schedule: Days l Full-time l 40 hours per week
What You Will Do
- Direct all planning, design, and construction projects, ensuring they align with organizational mission, strategy, and customer priorities.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, cash flow, and funding compliance. Coordinate audits and report risks, issues, and key metrics to leadership.
- Define project contract parameters, communicate stakeholder expectations, and serve as the primary liaison for external firms to ensure safety, conduct, and operational standards.
- Drive business innovation, service strategies, and continuous process improvements through collaborative partnerships.
- Lead staff hiring, training, development, direction, and performance evaluations.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Manager Certification specializing in Healthcare Facilities preferred. Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)also accepted.
- Project Mgmt Professional preferred. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
Healthcare construction preferred.
