Job Description
Summary: Arine is a rapidly growing healthcare technology and clinical services company focused on optimizing medication management through advanced data science and AI. They are seeking an AI Engineering Intern to work on transforming unstructured clinical data into structured SOAP notes and to enhance AI engagement for better patient care. This internship is geared towards graduate students or recent graduates passionate about healthcare technology.
Responsibilities:
- You will focus on the AI logic required to convert unstructured call summarizations into high-quality, clinical-grade SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan) notes
- You will help build Arine's prompt generation, defining guardrails and determining how the agent should respond to questions or comments from the stakeholder it is talking to
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT-X) and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, Lambda) and Python
- Experience with Azure (AI Foundry)
- Interest in healthcare technology and clinical documentation workflows
- Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States
- Stable high-speed internet connection and a private work area for HIPAA compliance
- Ability to pass a background check and complete Information Security/HIPAA training upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Claude
- Healthcare or startup experience
