Research Aide- ESIA- Aeschliman, Spencer-8.25.26
Location: Lemont, IL USA
The student will help with updating the Fuel Cells in America 2016 report. The fuel cell and hydrogen market has evolved significantly. Stationary power applications have expanded, including resilient distributed generation, microgrids, and high-reliability power for critical infrastructure. Transportation markets have also advanced, including fuel cell buses, material handling equipment, hydrogen fueling infrastructure, and emerging links between transportation and power applications. The student will help collect data to identify new demand drivers and market opportunities, including data centers, AI-enabled computing, domestic manufacturing growth, energy resilience, and energy security. The student will also conducting analysis to evaluate barriers and opportunities affecting technology adoption and scale-up. The student will help summarizing the results, insights, and writing the report/memo.
Education and Experience Requirements
- The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.
- Applicants must be:
‒ Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
‒ Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
‒ Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
- Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test
- Must complete a satisfactory background check

HourlyThe expected hiring range for this position is $31.28-$46.92.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs. Additionally, comprehensive benefits are part of the total rewards package.
