Data Analyst Intern at Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont, IL

Summary: Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a business-oriented, data-driven intern to join their Institutional Partnerships team. The intern will assist with the development of executive-level dashboards, metrics, and trending reports under the guidance of the Business Manager. Responsibilities: - Assist with the collection and consolidation of student and faculty programming data - Develop metrics and data visualization in PowerBI - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Open to both Graduate and Undergraduates (Must be a Junior or Senior if an undergraduate) - Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution - Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins - Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale - Must be a U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident at the time of application - If accepting an offer, then you must pass a screening drug test - Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel) required - Ability to be highly motivated and self-starting on individual work assignments - Aptitude for data collection and analysis - Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Preferred Majors: Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics - Knowledge of and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred Required Skills: Data analysis, Power BI Important Skills: Data visualization, Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills Benefits: Comprehensive benefits are part of the total rewards package
