The Arconic Internship Program is specifically designed to offer professional and personal development as well as a memorable experience for the aspiring professional.

Job Summary:

We’re currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our team as an Mechanical Engineering Intern. This paid intern position is Full-Time with a minimum 12-week assignment for the upcoming summer from mid-May to mid-August. This position will be based at our Lancaster, PA location. This is a safety sensitive position.

In this role, you will:

• Support Mechanical Engineers with current projects and initiatives

• Attend all meetings with the Mechanical Engineering mentor

• Participate in designated projects as well as day to day aspects of mechanical work at the Lancaster, PA facility

You have (required):

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• 3.0 GPA and above
• Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity (school club, part-time employment, etc.)

Exceptional Candidates also have (preferred):

• Prior work experience or previous internship
• Previous successful experience as an active member of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Aptitude for problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Willingness to take initiative to understand the business
