Job Description
| The Project Management Department is divided into 2 country related pools. Every pool is led by a Project manager who coaches 3-4 Order managers in charge of the order follow up. Once the order has been taken over by the Project manager it is transmitted to the Order manager who is in charge for the entire follow up; from the rolling, through the fabrication up to the shipment as well as the invoicing. The delivery schedule and the main deadlines must be agreed by&with the different production in order to ensure the validated customer agreements Objectives: Validate the internal order and transmit to the Order manager considering financial and technical aspects. Lead kick off meeting with the costumer and the sales agencies prior to the fabrication start. Assist assigned Order manager throughout the project. Liaise with the customer, the mill, the fabrication shop representatives and the Technical Sales manager Ensure delivery schedule is respected. Guarantee order closure in various aspects; stock issue, invoicing&payment tracking, financial order revision. Be proactive in order to anticipate potential gaps. Manage claims in collaboration with the Quality manager and the local Technical Sales manager Applicant Attributes Education / Qualification: Master (or equivalent experience) in civil Engineering Required language: Proficiency Level: Advanced English German French Other desirable language: Polish Italian Arab Other applicant attributes: Solid technical background in Civil Engineering is required Excellent commercial and communication skills are required Knowledge of steel production and steel fabrication process is required Experience (5 to 10 years) in steel fabricator area is a plus Experience (5 to 10 years) in steel design office area is a plus Ability to understand new products, informatics processes and their implementations Ability to work in a team and at the interface with various departments High energy, flexibility and self-motivation Willingness to travel Strong knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Knowledge of FEM software for Civil Engineering is a plus. |
