Company Description

Physical Therapist — Anchorage / Mat-Su Valley

$100-120K salary | $130-150,000k Total Compensation | $3,000 CEU | Mentorship | Career Growth

You Already Know Why Alaska Is Great. Let's Talk About Where You Practice.

If you're a Physical Therapist already living in Alaska, you probably aren't looking for someone to sell you on the mountains, fishing, skiing, or Midnight Sun.

You already get it.

The better question is:

Are you excited about where your PT career is going?

At Empower Physical Therapy, we're building a place where great clinicians can continue getting better, earn a great living, enjoy the people they work with, and build a long-term career without losing the reasons they became a PT in the first place.

We're looking for Physical Therapists in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley who might be ready for something different.

What Would Make You Change PT Jobs?

We think it should take more than a slightly different salary.

It should mean joining a clinic where you're genuinely excited about your future.

Becoming a Better Clinician

We invest heavily in clinical development. Our therapists have backgrounds in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pelvic health, manual therapy, dry needling, and spinal manipulation.

You'll have access to:

• $3,000 annual continuing education allowance
• Structured mentorship for newer graduates with blocked time to work on clinical skills
• Regular collaboration with experienced clinicians
• Professional and leadership development

Whether you've been practicing for six months or ten years, we want you to look back after joining Empower and know that you've grown.

Work With Patients Who Want to Get Back to Living

We like to call many of our patients the Alaskan Athlete.

That doesn't mean they're all competitive athletes.

They're parents, nurses, construction workers, slopers, runners, skiers, hikers, hunters, fishermen, weekend warriors, and everyday Alaskans who don't want pain or an injury keeping them from doing what they love or the things they need to live in Alaska.

Our job is to help them get back to it. That makes therapy more rewarding and a lot more fun.

Work Somewhere You Actually Like Your Team

We pride ourselves on our team and culture! We feel like you should love who you work with and have a blast when you get to be with them. Some lifelong friends have come from working at Empower. Our owners, directors and leaders work alongside our clinicians and administrative team to make it one big Empower TEAM. Our values are part of everyday conversations, decisions, and how we treat one another.

And we actually spend time together outside of work.

Our team has done:

• Company ocean fishing trips
• Whitewater rafting
• Family BBQs
• Hikes, paddleboarding, sledding
• Paint nights
• Arcade nights
• Team events and Alaska adventures

One of the things we hear most often from employees, traveling therapists, and patients, is how welcoming, friendly, and supportive our team feels. That's something we take pride in and are looking for others that want that!
