Job Description
Summary: Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce new chips and advanced displays. As a Process Engineer Intern, you'll work on advanced technologies in process engineering and collaborate with R&D teams in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries
- Partner with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects
Required Qualifications:
- Student must be pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and be in good academic standing at their university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor manufacturing related internship or academic experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
- Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
