Job Description

They are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Edge Engineering team, which is responsible for supporting Apple's Edge Infrastructure and content delivery services for over a billion users worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, test, develop, and maintain software solutions to address configuring the Edge
- Support our dynamically evolving global Content Delivery Network
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- Software development experience with languages such as Go, C++, etc
Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion for solving complex problems at scale and driving technical innovation
- Experience with domain-specific languages (DSLs), versioned and compatibility of configurations, interpreter concepts, and configuration developer tools
- Knowledge of networking protocols like HTTP, TLS, or TCP/IP
- OpenAPI, gRPC/Protobuf, Terraform/OpenTofu
- Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes such as Helm, Pulumi, Flux
- Familiarity with proxy systems such as NGINX or Envoy
Required Skills: Go, C++, Kubernetes
Important Skills: Networking protocols, OpenAPI, gRPC/Protobuf, Terraform/OpenTofu
Nice-to-Have Skills: Configuration developer tools, Proxy systems
