Job Description
We are partnering exclusively with a leading independent investment management firm to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant in a newly created role.
Supporting the Head of Finance, you will have broad exposure across financial reporting, payroll, tax, treasury, and international funds.
Responsibilities:
- Active management of payroll, treasury management, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions of the firm.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial projections for internal and reporting purposes.
- Preparation of payroll tax returns, VAT returns and corporation tax returns across various jurisdictions, liaising with third party providers where required.
- Preparation of annual accounts and reporting liaising with third party accountants and auditors as required.
- Support of the administration of collective investment vehicles managed by the firm to include regular liaison with service providers, boards of directors and auditors.
- Preparation of financial returns for various regulators.
- Miscellaneous ad hoc tasks as required.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with a professional accountancy qualification.
- Experience within the financial services industry.
- Excellent attention to detail with analytical mind-set.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Experience of working within a team and the ability to be flexible to the demands of the business and the team.
